  1. Umaid Bhawan Palace

Umaid Bhawan Palace is one of the World's largest private residence. The Palace is divided into 3 parts out of which one is residence of the Royal family and a part of the Palace is a hotel managed by Taj Hotels and a part is museum open for tourists. In the museum you will get to know the history of the Royal Family, various rare collections and art pieces and you can even see a wide collection of vintage cars of the Royal family. If you wish you can even book a room here to enjoy the splendid beauty of the Palace.


2. Mehrangarh fort

Mehrangarh fort- an UNESCO World Heritage site is one of the largest forts of the country. Situated at the top of city, from here you will get entire view of the city. From here you can even enjoy view of the blue city as Jodhpur is also known as blue city.


3. Jaswant Thada

Just next to Mehrangarh fort you can also visit Jaswant Thada- a marble cenotaph monument. The structure is beautifully made by carved marble.


4. Ghantaghar and markets

Jodhpur Ghanta Ghar, also known as the Clock Tower, is a popular landmark in Jodhpur, Rajasthan, India. It was built by Maharaja Sardar Singh in the late 19th century and is located in the heart of the old city. The tower is made of red sandstone and has a clock with four faces, each facing different directions. The tower is surrounded by the vibrant Sardar Market, which is a bustling bazaar filled with shops selling everything from handicrafts and textiles to spices and jewelry. Visitors can explore the market, shop for souvenirs, and sample local street food. The Ghanta Ghar and Sardar Market are popular attractions in Jodhpur and provide a glimpse into the city's rich history and culture.


5. Mandore garden

There are various temples, ruins and a garden to visit here. Here you can explore the art of the beautiful temples of Rajasthan.


6. Toorji Ka Jhalra bavdi


Toorji Ka Jhalra is a historic stepwell located in Jodhpur, Rajasthan, India. It was built in the 1740s by Maharaja Abhay Singh's queen, Maharani Toor Ji. The stepwell is made of sandstone and is famous for its stunning architectural design, intricate carvings, and stunning blue-colored water. The stepwell is a popular tourist destination and has been restored and renovated in recent years, making it more accessible to visitors. It is located in the old city area of Jodhpur, near the popular Clock Tower (Ghanta Ghar) and the bustling Sardar Market. Toorji Ka Jhalra is not only a beautiful architectural wonder but also an important source of water for the local community. The stepwell was designed to collect and store rainwater, which would then be used for various purposes, including drinking and irrigation. Visitors to Jodhpur should definitely visit Toorji Ka Jhalra to admire its beauty, learn about its history, and experience the tranquility of the stepwell.


7. Temples near Jodhpur

There are various other temples too to visit near Jodhpur. One of the famous Temples is Nakodaji which is 2 hours away from Jodhpur. On the way to Nakodaji, there are various beautiful temples to explore.

  1. Two days are sufficient to explore the Jodhpur city.

  2. You can try the famous dishes of Jodhpur like dal bati, kachori, mirchi wada, Rajasthani thali, sweets and much more at famous places such as Janta Sweet Home, Chaturbhuj, Ras Haveli, Gypsy restaurant & Vivanta by Taj.

  3. You can also visit other places of Rajasthan such as Jaisalmer, Jaipur or Udaipur.

  4. As Rajasthan is famous for palaces, if you wanna stay at some palace like hotel then you can stay at Ingana Palace Hotel which only costs around 3-5k INR/ 40-50 USD's per night.
